1. Choose Who Your AI Recruiter Should Source

Decide how broadly you want your AI recruiter to search for talent. You have two options:

  • Active Job Seekers + Passive Candidates (Recommended): Your AI recruiter will process all direct applicants and proactively search FactoryFix's talent network of over 2 million skilled professionals to find qualified candidates who may not be actively looking.
  • Active Job Seekers Only: Your AI recruiter will only process candidates who directly apply to your job posting.

2. Manage Your Job's Visibility on Job Boards

Choose how your AI recruiter manages your job's presence on major platforms like Indeed and ZipRecruiter.

  • Optimize visibility (Recommended): Just like a human recruiter would, your AI recruiter will strategically refresh your job posting approximately every two weeks. It automatically creates and schedules variations of your job title and description to ensure your role stays prominent in search results, driving a consistent flow of qualified applicants. Static job posts lose visibility over time; this feature keeps your job fresh.
  • Keep original: Your AI recruiter will post the exact job details you provide. The job's visibility will naturally decline over time without manual refreshes.

Review Your AI Recruiter's Scheduled Changes

If you choose "Optimize visibility," you can preview the scheduled updates.

  1. After activating the job, click "See scheduled changes."
  2. You'll see the exact content of each scheduled update and when it's set to go live.
  3. The AI recruiter creates variations based on your original job description, using synonyms or rephrasing content without adding or removing core requirements. If you edit the original job title or description, the AI recruiter will automatically regenerate all future scheduled updates.

3. Fine-Tune Your AI Recruiter's Sourcing Strategy (Optional)

If you enabled "Active Job Seekers + Passive Candidates," you can give your AI recruiter more specific instructions. In the "Fine-tune AI recruiter's sourcing strategy" section, you can:

  • Set Outreach Score Threshold: Choose whether the AI recruiter contacts only highly recommended candidates (4+ stars) or includes potential fits (3+ stars).
  • Target Companies: List companies you'd like to recruit from. This helps your AI recruiter prioritize candidates from those backgrounds.
  • Avoid Companies: Specify companies to avoid sourcing from (e.g., partners, customers).
