When a great candidate replies, the fastest answer usually wins — and you're not always at your desk. FactoryFix works right in your phone's browser, so you can keep recruiting on the go.
No app to install
There's nothing to download. The mobile experience is the same FactoryFix app, adapted to a smaller screen. Sign in from your phone's browser the way you always do, and the layout adjusts automatically: a top bar with the FactoryFix logo and a menu, a slide-out navigation drawer, and full-screen dialogs that are easy to use with your thumb.
Because it's the same web app, there are no separate push notifications. You'll still get your usual email notifications when a candidate messages you, and tapping a candidate-message link in one of those opens you straight into that conversation.
What you can do on your phone
Most of your day-to-day recruiting works on a phone:
- Messages — your Activity inbox and candidate conversations: read messages, reply, and review the candidate.
- Talent Search — search the talent pool and review results.
- Candidate Archive — search every candidate across all your jobs.
- AI Recruiting Team — review your AI recruiters, and create or fine-tune one.
- Labor Market Reports — request a report on talent supply and demand.
- Performance Dashboard — check your hiring activity at a glance.
A few things are still best on a larger screen — more on that below.
Staying on top of messages
Catching and answering candidate replies is the heart of the mobile experience.
- Your mobile home is the Activity inbox: unread and needs-attention conversations from all of your jobs, in one place. A count badge next to the Activity title shows how many are still unread, and each row shows the candidate's name, a timestamp, and a one-line preview.
- To clear everything at once, tap Mark all as read in the header. You'll be asked to confirm, then all unread conversations are cleared.
- When you've worked through everything, the inbox shows All caught up!
- Tap any row — or a candidate-message link in a notification email — to open that conversation. Opening it marks it read, and the thread updates automatically as new messages arrive.
- To reply, type in the box at the bottom and tap send. Nothing sends automatically, and there are no auto-replies, so you're always in control of what goes out.
The candidate's details
Each candidate's screen has three tabs:
- Conversation — the full message thread, where you read and reply.
- Resume — the candidate's resume.
- Contact — the candidate's Phone, Email, and Location.

Finding your way around
Tap the menu in the top bar to open navigation and your account. From there you can move between sections, reach your profile, and sign out. If you belong to more than one employer account, you'll also find a company switcher so you can move between them.
If you're on the messages screens and want the full desktop layout for a moment, tap Show full version in the top bar. It switches you over for now; the next time you reload FactoryFix on your phone, you'll be back in the mobile view automatically.
What works best on a computer
We're continuing to bring more of FactoryFix to mobile. A couple of areas are still easier to use on a larger screen for now:
- Detailed dashboard charts. Your Performance Dashboard headline numbers and tabs work on a phone, but the detailed graphs are easier to read on a computer.
- Settings. Account, company, and permissions settings are being optimized for phones — some pages are still smoother on desktop.
Since it's the same app, you can switch to a computer anytime for the complete experience.
