How your AI recruiter manages job visibility

When you post a job, it's not a "set it and forget it" activity. On major job boards, a static job posting quickly loses visibility as new jobs are added, causing your applicant flow to dry up.

The "Optimize Visibility" feature instructs your AI recruiter to act like a savvy human recruiter, strategically managing your job's presence to keep it fresh and at the top of search results.

How "Optimize Visibility" Works

When you enable this feature for a job, your AI recruiter:

  1. Creates Variations: It automatically generates several variations of your job title and description based on the original content you provided. It uses synonyms and rephrases sections but never adds or removes core requirements.
  2. Schedules Refreshes: It schedules these variations to be posted approximately every two weeks.
  3. Maintains Visibility: This regular refreshing signals to job boards that your position is new and relevant, which keeps it prominent in search results and drives a more consistent flow of qualified applicants.

You can preview all scheduled changes for a job at any time, so you always know what content is being used.

How Editing a Job Affects Scheduled Changes

  • If you edit the job TITLE or DESCRIPTION: Your AI recruiter will discard all previously scheduled variations and generate a completely new set based on your updated content.
  • If you edit other fields (like pay or shift): These changes will be reflected in the job posting, but they will not trigger a regeneration of the scheduled title and description variations.

Best Practices

  • For the highest applicant flow, we always recommend enabling "Optimize Visibility".
  • Ensure your original job description is detailed and accurate, as all variations are based on it.
  • Remember that after a scheduled change takes effect, it can take 24-48 hours for the update to fully appear across all job boards.
