How to activate Copilot on jobs synced from your ATS?Updated 2 months ago
⚠️ Important: If you want to post a job that exists in your ATS, don't create a new job in FactoryFix. Always find and activate the synced version of your ATS job. Creating a new job instead of using the synced version will prevent proper candidate sync with your ATS.
Finding Your ATS Job
First, make sure you're working with the correct synced version of your job:
Step 1: Find your ATS job using the steps in "How do I find and manage jobs from my ATS?"
Step 2: Verify it's the right job by checking the ATS Job ID.
Step 3: If you can't find your job, wait for the next sync (every three hours) or contact support.
Activating Your ATS Job
Once you've found the correct synced job, you can activate it just like any other job in FactoryFix. Follow the standard job activation steps in "How to post a job on FactoryFix using Copilot."
After Activation
Your activated job will start receiving candidates, who will sync back to your ATS based on your settings. Learn more about candidate sync in "How are candidates synced to my ATS?"
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What happens if I accidentally create a new job instead of activating the synced one?
A: If you create a new job manually instead of activating the synced version, candidates who apply to this job won't sync to your ATS.
However, there's a workaround: you can move these candidates to the correct synced job, and they will then sync to your ATS. To avoid this situation, always make sure you're activating the synced version of your ATS job rather than creating a new one.
Q: Can I move candidates between jobs after they've applied?
A: Yes, you can move candidates between jobs. If you move a candidate to a synced job, they will sync to your ATS based on your sync settings.
Q: What happens when I edit a job with Copilot enabled?
A: You can edit the job in FactoryFix even after enabling Copilot. However, any changes made in your ATS won't sync to FactoryFix to avoid disrupting Copilot's optimization.
