FactoryFix's optimize visibility feature helps maintain peak visibility for your job postings across major job boards. This guide explains how the system works and what happens when you make changes to jobs with optimize visibility enabled.

How Optimize Visibility Works

When you enable optimize visibility for a posting, Copilot creates scheduled updates for your job listing that will be automatically published according to a strategic schedule. These updates maintain the core requirements of your position while refreshing the content to ensure maximum visibility in job board search results.

Viewing Scheduled Variations

You can preview the scheduled variations for any optimized job posting by:

1. Logging into your FactoryFix account
2. Navigating to the job posting
3. Checking the optimization schedule to see upcoming title and description variations

How Updates to Job Postings Affect Scheduled Changes

When you edit a job posting with optimize visibility enabled, here's what happens:

Changes That Trigger New Scheduled Updates

• Editing the job title
• Modifying the job description

When you make either of these changes, Copilot will automatically:

1. Generate new variations based on your updated content
2. Replace all previously scheduled variations with the new ones

Changes That Don't Trigger New Updates

The following updates will be reflected in your job posting but won't cause regeneration of scheduled updates:

• Changes to compensation
• Updates to shift information

These updates will still be communicated to job boards with your current scheduled changes.

Best Practices

To get the most out of optimize visibility:

• Review scheduled changes after making significant changes to your job title or description
• Ensure your core job requirements are clearly stated in the main description
• Note that when scheduled changes take effect, it may take 24-48 hours for the updates to fully propagate across job boards
